Damson Madder was born in the spring of 2020, when Emma Hill set out to create a slower, more thoughtful and responsible fashion brand, without compromising on creativity and design. The brand began by experimenting with recycled and organic fabrics, alongside natural dyes. During this process, two early favorite shades, “Damson” (plum) and “Madder” (a flowering plant), inspired the brand’s name.
Today, responsible practices, transparency and small-batch production remain at the heart of Damson Madder. Quality is central to every piece: garments are designed to endure, to be worn, loved, and reworn. Through considered design and intentional production, the brand aims to create clothing that becomes a lasting part of the wardrobe.
