SunTribe founders met at Lund's University in Sweden. The three friends wanted to create a company that was built on environmental values. SunTribes offers an alternative to exiting synthetic-based sunscreens that despite being harmful to users' skin, is still the number one choice for sunscreen in the world. SunTribe wants to contribute to change and aims to deliver a range of worry-free products: no synthetic chemicals, no artificial scents, or preservatives. The brand uses natural organic oils, waxes, butters, and natural minerals.
