Hirundo

Hirundo was born in 2022, after two Portuguese brothers, Filipe and Eduardo, had the project of creating sneakers with environmentally friendly and local materials, as well as sustainable over time. This idea came to them from their father who had beautiful shoes, some of which are 45 years old and are still worn. 

The idea here was to offer sneakers with a new design, with punch and originality, but above all to favor the durability of the pair over time as well as ethical materials. 

Did you know that your sneakers usually remains in good condition only six to eight months? This represents approximately 500 to 800 kilometers. Hirundo wants you to walk in his sneakers for much longer than that. Beautiful sneakers are good, but pairs that you can keep for years with great materials are better. 

This is the project that these two brothers embarked on, being sure and certain that it is possible to change the modes of production and consumption of this much appreciated product.
