What is the story behind Exceed Shoe Thinkers? When did it start and what was the inspiration behind it?
We were in 2010 when Agostinho Marques and Pedro Caria, marketeers and footwear enthusiasts, decided to showcase in Milan, their own brand. At that time it was a very innovative and different proposal. It had on its base a qualitatively superior product with a very solid design component, both in terms of product and concept. The inspiration was the cosmopolitan men and their lifestyle. Nowadays, it’s not just men but everybody, no matter any gender label that you want to put on it. Exceed Shoe Thinkers is now a gender-neutral brand.
What are the values that drive the brand?
Passion, commitment, respect, innovation and forward fashion thinking.
What are the distinctive features of the brand’s products?
All the outputs of the product design process. The most visible are the exclusive designs, details, comfort and overall quality.
How does the creative process for the products carry out?
With persistence. Together with our team, we think, we design, we construct, we test and if that is not enough, we do it again.
